Periodically CVS along with other store will update their coupon policies. If you have a binder as your coupon holder, it is a good idea to keep a copy of the current coupon policies in there. It helps to have it with you if there is discrepancy between what the cashier does and what the coupon policy says.

You can use two coupons on BOGO promotions. One for each item. Just pay sales tax.
You can use a BOGO free coupon with a BOGO free promotion. Both items will be free and you only pay sales tax.
If your coupon exceeds the price of the item, the coupon will be adjusted to the price of the item. No overage allowed. Once again, you pay all sales tax.
